Our Timeline

PO and Jerry meets through a mutual friend at a bar called Khao San Road in Toronto, sharing a Thai cocktail bucket.

On a whim, the group decides it’s a great idea to go out, and we call Theo Chu, fairly certain he’s hosting a pregame (our intuition was correct).

Then history was made at Crews & Tangos.

Jerry forgets his coat at the coat check at Crews & Tangos (classic).

When he goes back the next day to pick it up, he tells PO the story, and PO casually turns it into a first date at Kinka.

Every other day after they met, Jerry kept asking PO to hang out. PO kept saying yes, surprised that he always wanted to.

On November 13, beside a hot dog stand at King & John, with corn piled onto their hot dogs, Jerry asked PO to make things official.

Jerry finds a job in Vancouver and plans to move there alone. They decide to try long distance.

Little do they know, the universe has other plans. COVID arrives, and suddenly they are moving in together in Vancouver, convinced it will only be for a short while.

Leaving Vancouver is not one decision, but two dreams unfolding at once.

Jerry chooses to pursue his MBA at USC Marshall School of Business, while PO returns to the road, touring again with Cirque du Soleil on KOOZA. They leave the city together, even as their paths briefly diverge.

They had been talking about getting engaged for a while, just never when it would actually happen. Jerry always said he would be too embarrassed to propose, so PO decided to do it himself.

On the second day of Coachella, completely unexpected and perfectly timed, PO pops the question. It throws Jerry off entirely (mostly because he is hungover). Jerry says yes.
